The Bald Eagle is the national bird of the United States. It emblem sits atop flagpoles, is on USA money. These magnificent birds winter over in New York State near our house in Hurleyville, NY. They migrate from Canada for the months of January, February, and into March. This local GARUDA LOKA (land of the eagles) is expecially significant, as VISHNU rides on an eagle.
